How Moonlight began
Founded at Carnegie Mellon University by a husband-and-wife team, Moonlight Muslims was born out of a simple question:
How can we make Islamic values the highlight of our children's nightly routine?

Today, children are surrounded by general content. While much of it is entertaining, there is a significant lack of high-quality, engaging media that centers on Islamic akhlāq, Prophets' stories, the Sahābah, and Islamic heroes.
Muslim parents were searching for stories that didn't just entertain, but nurtured the soul.
